On Wednesday another of our larger customers will move to live processing. This customer is beginning with e-invoicing, customer and supplier facing). Phase two (August) will see a move to more comprehensive order -> Invoice cycle documents and from that point the idea will be to move towards documents such as ASN and POD to complete invoicing cycle and enhance the supply chain for the business.
The previous large customer go live was a migration to SAP. This is a migration from SAP, Riems and GXS to Microsoft Dynamics AX and First B2B.
Each Go Live informs the next Go Live, because even though our existing processes are ISO 9001:2008 certified, we continue to learn and every client has a slightly different requirement, in this case a management of the document flow on Day 1 and possibly 2.
According to the customer he previous go live I blogged about went extreemly well, to the extent that 3 weeks after Go Live they were in a place in terms of stability that other divisions of the same company only achieved after 3 months. We are now already processing over 100,000 documents per month for this customer
