SCIaaS consists of:
Supply Chain Platform - At the core of the solution is our fully-managed iXchange platform that’s exclusively made visible to all or selective participants in a specific supply chain.
The platform is exclusively available through SaaS so the entire supply chain can simply plug in to our cloud without the need to purchase any additional hardware or software.
Via any-to-any messaging and transport protocols, the host, their trading partners and the suppliers to these trading partners have real-time access to this platform.
From a messaging perspective, assuming some of the core computer systems aren’t known to First B2B then a fixed price and timescale integration service is included. For smaller trading partners or applications that don’t require integration, a web front end can also be customised and implemented.
Supply Chain Business Objects – SCIaaS comes with a library of supply chain business objects that can be implemented to provide immediate rules, logic and functionality. Current objects include for example - freight mode and carrier selection, vendor managed inventory, inventory collaboration, forecast collaboration and unique business processes for selective product categories, customers or channels
