"Before FirstB2B Cherry Valley were running an EDI system, in-house, with all of the associated maintenance and VAN costs. This also involved setting up all of the relevant customer message requirements and testing (a time consuming process). It was proposed to look into other ways of performing our EDI operations, since the current solution was coming to the end of its life and an upgrade would be fairly costly. After some initial studies and analysis of the number of messages we were actually sending via EDI, it turned out that FirstB2B could offer us the same facilities as we had in house and at a reduced overall cost.
